Dresden, Germany, February 13, 1945, 09:51 PM. The sound of sirens comes to life. For the people of Dresden, life is about to end. Steel beasts appear in the sky, raining death from above. Modern day Chimeras. Firestorms break out in the city streets, sucking the air out of the lungs of women and children and creating maelstroms that turn wind into fire and people into living funeral pyres.
That day Bhasmasura came to Dresden and touched the civilian population – a touch that turns people into ashes. The cremation of 25.000 people, mostly civilians, by a thousand fiery lashes was of course a crime against humanity. But the crime was never prosecuted, because the victors of wars write history.
Thousand Fiery Lashes
Firestorm, steel beasts
Kings of the sky
Giant wings, flames of terror
Death from above
Twenty one, fifty one
Wind turns to fire
Devastation, cremation
From man to funeral pyre
Look into the sky
See the creatures fly
Everything turns to ashes
By a thousand fiery lashes
Reign of fire
Crimson kingdom
In the shadow of Chimera
Apocalypse
Ruin of us all
Touched by Bhasmasura
Look into the sky
See the creatures fly
Everything turns to ashes
By a thousand fiery lashes
Thousand!
Fiery!
Lashes!
Thousand!
Fiery!
Lashes!
